Edward ‘Eddie’ McCarthy developed his broking career by learning the ropes at Bellrock Specialty (BellrockS).

Eddie was a ‘jack of all trades’ during those early days, assisting the Broking and Claims divisions, determined to gain as much insight and experience in finding the right insurance solutions for the company’s clients.

But new challenges beckoned, and Eddie left the company to stride a successful path intersecting global and multinational companies while creating bespoke local and international placement solutions.

Eddie prides himself on providing outside the box thinking – an ethos which includes unique policy structures centred on client-first priorities – while ensuring continued value and security to his employers.

But something was missing. Or more importantly, something was calling him home and a realignment his customer-centric values.

Returning to BellrockS as the Head of Placement, Eddie engages a diverse skill set to provide client-first, bespoke advice, and grow a brand which is widely known as being “Measurably Different”.

It’s a move which has put the industry on notice with Eddie drawing multiple accolades including the “Insurance Business’s Rising Stars (Under 35)” and more recently, ranked fourth in top 30 in the (Australia and NZ) Elite Insurance Broker (Insurance Business Australia).
