Starting in the in the claims department of companies such as Suncorp and QBE, Val gained the experience of handling a wide variety of insurance covers, from technically demanding products to simple covers, and covered areas including mining, personal injuries, medical practice matters to under deductible, ISR, fleet and more.

Meanwhile, Val was learning the art of broking, understanding their needs and how best to advocate the needs of their clients.

When the chance to join the broking ranks arrived, Val grabbed it with both hands, combining a wealth of experience with a client-first focus to stamp her mark on the industry.
